The club has made every effort so that Club emails arrive in your in-box, by complying with latest secure email standards. If emails don't arrive or you find them in your spam folder, the fault lies most likely with your email provider or if your email address is very old with limited support by the provider.
It is important that you fix any issues with your email otherwise you will not recieve such emails such as
- Booking Club Rides
- Members entry to the Sportive-Kinross.
- Volunteers Entry (if you volunteered the previous year)
- Membership renewal notifications
- GP Series notifications
- Invitations to the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome
- Invitations to attend the annual Awards night
- Invitation to the AGM
- Various other social and cycling events
The email address you used when paying for you KCC membership online via British Cycling (BC) is the only email address that KCC will contact you on.
If you change your email address, Only You can update it in your BC account, so please ensure that you keep your contact email up to date or you will miss out on
To try overcome email delivery issues you will either need to ...
- Contact your email provider to ask them to delivery all emails that have the address domains listed below
- Create a "whitelist" yourself (you could google how to, for your Internet Service Provider or contact them asking that they do it), for the following email domains and if that is not enough the club email addresses. This whitelist may (but not guaranteed) stop club email being wrongly classed as SPAM by your ISP's SPAM filters.
- Stop using an ancient email address (such as aol, tiscali, yahoo etc) for club emails and instead create a new one that is supported.
Domains
- @kinrosscyclingclub.co.uk
- @sportive-kinross.co.uk
