Regular Club Meets
The Club meets once a week during the autumn/winter. Rides are cancelled in very bad weather - best bet is to have a scan out the window - if there is white stuff coming down or
rain that does not hit the ground - its a good bet that we will not be out!
Check out our calendar for details of up and coming rides.
Sunday Rides
Normally two rides will start from Loch Leven Community Campus. Both groups leave at 9am. during the summer and at 9:30 during the winter.
G1 will tend to be between 40km and
100km (25miles - 60miles) depending on weather, the route we are going, and who is riding! The pace will average more than 26km/hr (17mph).
The second group
(G2) cover a shorter ride at an easier pace between 20km/hr and 25km/hr on average, (12 - 16mph).
Ride length and pace depend on who is riding on any particular day and is adjusted to suit all members of the group! If the group splits, we always stop to re-group.
Thursday Rides (Summer Only)
Thursday rides take place on a Thursday evening, meeting at Loch Leven Leisure(swimming pool) and tend to be shorter, we try to undertake informal training sessions,
such as hill climbs, circuits, short sprints etc. The rides will start again in the spring as the days start to get longer. Check our calendar for details of all rides.
New Rides?
We welcome new members to the group and would be delighted to see new meets
and groups established for riders of different diciplines or abilities.
